The Lake Placid Municipal Airport is about one mile south
of the village on Route 73. Hours of operation: 9 a.m.- 5
p.m. daily. 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. in July & August. Runway:
4,200 feet. Services: Air Charter flights from most

Adirondack Airport
In Saranac Lake, 16 miles from Lake Placid on Route 86.

The Lake Placid area is within 2 1/2 hours driving time

Vermont; and Montreal, Quebec. All are serviced by major
airline carriers and have car rentals available.
