Friday Fun

Youth events are mostly Friday evening outings where teens can have fun in a Christian environment.

Adult Supervision

Each outing is supervised by adults. Christian principals are taught by example.

Everyone Included

There is always plenty of food and fun for everyone. A wide variety of youth are involved and everyone is included.

May 2

Bowling

  • 2375 Bevan (1 block south of Beacon Ave.) in Sidney.
  • Meet at Home Depot at 6:25 p.m. or Town & Country at 6:35 p.m.
  • Cost is $10.
May 9

Par 3 Golf

  • Event at Henderson Park on Cedar Hill X Road.
  • Meet at Home Depot at 6:00 p.m. or at Henderson Park at 6:30 p.m.
  • Cost is $10-$15 depending upon what equipment you need.
May 16

No Event

  • No Event due to May Long Weekend.
May 23

Bike, Hike & Swim

  • Bike, Hike & Swim at Matheson Lake.
  • Meet at the Matheson Lake parking lot at 6:30 p.m.
  • Helmets are mandatory.
  • No cost for this event.
May 30

Bible Study & Games

  • Bible Study at Mike & Kathy's.
  • Meet at Home Depot at 6:30 p.m.
  • No cost for this event.
Jun 6

Outdoor Soccer & Capture the Flag

  • Event at Twinflower Park in the Highlands.
  • Meet at Home Depot at 6:30 p.m.
  • No cost for this event.
Jun 13

Grad Night

  • We're celebrating grads Sam & Alana.
  • Location: Salvation Army Citadel. Dress is semi-formal.
  • More details as they become available.
 

Summer Hiatus

  • Our youth programs go on hiatus for the summer because of Camp and vacations.
  • Activities resume in the fall.
  • Check our On-Line Bulletin for any special events.

Weekend Trips

In addition to the regular Friday evening events, there are weekend trips and the ever-popular ski event at Shawnigan Lake each summer (see photo at the top of the page).

Transportation & Prearranged Drop-off

The youth are dropped off at a prearranged location then go to the event. Transportation is arranged for those that do not have rides. If you need transportation to any of our events, please contact one of our committee members.

Adult Supervision

Each outing is supervised by adults.
