TL switch to physical search with CCG doing water
Must layout assignments, mapping, briefing, debriefing, reports

Confined space and urban building/s combination search assignment
TL assigned class as searchers and 2 F.D. SCBA members to rule out an area - [old gas works], must have building search plan, rescue plan
map of building and confined spaces given to TL
once searching no other resources available
child found unconscious in confined space by 1 FD member
communication prob if rope signals not pre-planed to outside SCBA
stand-by helps primary and passes to ground SAR for treatment
TL make report to send thank you to F.D. etc..

TL assigned to school gym to organize 200 volunteers for type 3
rest of class problem civilians that want to go / some not suitable
3 buses ready and available for 30 min. only
2 areas 1 easy [Durrance lake park] 1 difficult [Cole hill] 92B/11
must use load volunteers to assist in dividing group into 3 levels
best to area 1, moderate to area 2, rest to base camp
give volunteer briefing and manage

TL must instruct and organize searchers for critical space search
rest of class are searchers that do not know critical spacing
area beacon hill park, full documentation required
student - e
TL organize a contour search from forward base camp
forward camp @ 3091 - 92 B/12 / 2 altimeters available
TL to realize searchers must be expected for night camp [72 hr packs]
Once away at top of Waterloo 1 searcher down with blown knee
TL to handle / poss split teams to carry on, get evac for searcher
ensure TL sets up bivouac for downed searcher ASAP
finish search and paperwork on all
student - f
TL organize full Type 2, all aspects, outside team
once under way problem searcher, must deal with
send back and reorganize, document
student - g
TL emergency response hasty to North Hill park, police confining
9 person team [1 is TL], to phone in to base once on scene for plan
{get gear and go !!} once on scene total loss of communications
TL should plan and mobilize into 3 hasty teams R.A.P.I.D., C.A.T.S.
leave note at parking lot in case of radio fail
Trail and likely spot search, subject elderly diabetic wandered away from Ferry terminal, poss hypoglycemic, very confused
subject found by hasty, TL must activate Rescue Plan
student - h
TL set up, brief, deploy night hasty team for Fork Lake
92 B/11 @ 6574 - full mapped search plan, transportation plan, tactics
communications plan, equipment plan, no find, document and conduct debrief, fill out report
student - i
TL set up organize response to James Island for missing mentally challenged child, all aspects, reports etc.
