I provide personalized help with computer software and hardware issues by telephone, email or on-site (Greater Victoria only). Help is also available at distance via telephone or email.
Software & Hardware Issues
I can help you to resolve problems with your computer whether it be instruction on how to accomplish a particular task or help troubleshooting unusual behaviour.
On-site Help
If the issue cannot be resolved over the phone, I offer on-site assistance (in Greater Victoria only).
Instruction
One-on-one tutoring
I also offer training using your computer and your software. Your special learning requirements and topics can be accommodated.
Most people have an idea about what they wish to accomplish with a new computer or software program. They just need someone to show them the basics and perhaps a few specific techniques to enable them to get the most of their investment.
Learn Principals
It is often better to learn a few principals so later on you can deal with unanticipated circumstances on your own. Spending the time to master a few key concepts now will enable you to progress faster later.

I provide instruction or assistance in many operating systems including all versions of Microsoft Windows, DOS, Macintosh, Linux and IBM OS/2.
I have familiarity with current and legacy hardware and software and maintain special relationships with computer vendors, hardware repair services, ISPs and other expert resources.
Software Applications
I can also provide instruction for many applications and am able to teach you such skills as desktop publishing, web design, word processing (tables, page layout, manuscripts, etc.), spreadsheets, databases, and much more.
