Located in Victoria, British Columbia

Because of the nature of distance, on-site services are only offered in Greater Victoria, British Columbia (on the West Coast of Canada).

Most Services Available at Distance

We can provide most of our services at distance using either

Telephone Consultations; or
E-mail Exchanges.

E-mail exchanges will be charged for the time to research your issue as well as the time spent in dealing with the correspondence. This time is needed to be sure that the answers we provide are accurate and to not assume skills you may not have.

Business Hours

Limited Hours

I have found it necessary to scale back on the hours due to personal health issues. I appreciate your understanding.

Regular Hours

Regular hours: Monday-Friday 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Pacific Time).

I may not be available during these hours, but will return calls.
On-site work is generally scheduled for Wednesday afternoons.
I am not available on Saturdays or Sundays.

Billing Practices

Billing Rates

The following rates are effective January 15, 2005:

On-site Services: $45.00 per hour, minimum 2 hours per call.
Telephone/E-mail Consultations: $30.00 per hour, minimum of a half-hour per incident.
In-shop Services: $30.00 per hour, minimum 1 hour.

Standard rates are in effect during regular business hours. Additional fees my be assessed for emergencies or work down outside regular hours. Time is rounded to the nearest half-hour unless the service is contracted by prior agreement.

Pricing is done differently for Web design or writing and editing and the hourly rates are higher and depend upon the sort of service being provided and the nature of the project.

Payment Options

I can accept various forms of payment for clients outside of Greater Victoria (distance clients). All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars.

Payment by PayPal is recommended. I regret that money orders or cheques must be cleared by my bank before services can be rendered.

PayPal offers the ability to make payments in several credit cards as well as with a standard PayPal account. All PayPal payments offer immediate service.
