Greetings from your CITE Vice President! I hope that you all have had a relaxing summer. I should take this opportunity to bring you up to date on CITE activities since the April conference in Vancouver.

New membership application forms have been developed, specifically for prospective CITE members, by ITE Washington. The application forms are much less onerous and the special introductory membership fee offer of CDN $75 is still available. There is no better time to join CITE! Please contact your local section/ chapter executive for an application form.

Remember the next CITE conference, August 9 - 12, 1998 in Toronto, which is being held jointly with the ITE Annual Meeting.

If you thought the 1997 Vancouver conference was big at over 300 delegates, the Toronto one will be even bigger! Expect around 2000 delegates plus a huge trade show. There should be something for everybody at this conference.

The ITE Annual Meeting is held in Canada once every ten years, so make sure you don't miss this one! For further information, please contact Mr. Paul Hill at 416-229-4646.
