Plans are underway to hold our next accordion festival in
beautiful Victoria.
Our 2007 festival was an overwhelming success. The 2008 festival promises to be another exciting and
entertaining weekend of great music. Come and enjoy well-known guest artists, open stage, jamming

Highlights of the 2007 festival: |
|
|
The 2007 festival was a huge
success. There were great
performers of all ages. They came
from Victoria, other provinces in Canada, the U.S., and even other countries. |
|
|
|
A mostly standing-room
only audience was normal for most events, concerts and performances. Here, the well-known and always entertaining
Barbara Ann Martindale of Vancouver provided a very lively performance of
accordion and singing.
|
|
|
|
|
|
World-renowned artists
Bertram Levy from Argentina, Mario Pedone from Texas, and Richard Theiss from
Vancouver join together in a truly inspiring and highly entertaining trio
performance. A unique
opportunity to hear three accomplished musicians on stage at the same
time. Each of these artists gave
separate concerts during the festival, as well as conducted workshops on
various topics for festival participants.

Mary Ross, one of the
festivalŐs organizers, provides her signature captivating performance of
Scottish and other cultural favourites.
|
|
|
|
|
|
At the closing of the festival,
many of the performers joined together on stage for a Ňband jamÓ finale to
the delight of the full-house audience.
|
