Give Away of the Day

bout a month ago I came across Give Away of the Day that offers a free program each day. The only requirement is that you download and install the program before the end of the day. Most of these programs are around $20 if you were to pay the normal registration fee but some of them have listed as high as $50.

The files are downloaded as a zip and within the zip is a program called validate.exe and this goes off to the website, verifies that you are within the time limit to get it free and gets some sort of confirmation (probably a cookie).
In addition to the free utility or program of the day, there is also a free game of the day. Not being interested in games I haven't tried this section.
I have downloaded several cool programs from the site and suggest that others give it a try.
