Bernie has been on this planet for more than six decades and has been breeding birds for all of them! He keeps a large variety of birds including macaws, amazons, cockatoos, cockatiels, medium size parrots, Australian parakeets, finches, canaries and a variety of doves.
Bernie has shown birds for forty years including numerous stewarding experiences and has been judging for the last fifteen. He has also been involved with many local clubs for the past 20 years including many years in the president's chair. Most notably Bernie was instrumental in the founding of the Eastern Canadian Bird Fanciers which has resulted in far better communication between clubs and more uniform catalogues in eastern Canada.
